About Christine Hawkins AM
Christine has deep expertise in governance through supporting clients, as well as her personal appointments to boards in a wide range of industries and organisations. These include public, private and not-for-profit organisations, as well as Commonwealth statutory corporations and cooperative research centres.
Christine specialises in working with organisations and governments on complex issues requiring discretion and skill to resolve. Christine supports the board advisory services of Directors Australia, working with boards and organisations to sustain effective governance and board performance in the challenging and volatile environment of the 21st century.
Christine’s contributions were recognised in 2019, when she became a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to business and commerce and primary industry. An accomplished writer, Christine has authored publications and courses on directorship and governance. Additionally, Christine has been a keynote speaker on governance at local and international seminars and conferences.
